Lighting your way to safety
Whether a fire knocks out the lighting or you simply experience a power cut, some areas of the premises may be too dark to negotiate safely – and that’s where a good emergency lighting system is essential.
Whether you decide to have an automated system or a manual one there are two approaches:
- A central battery operated system, which can be linked to the alarm system and comes on if there is a fire
- Stand alone units connected to the local lighting circuit that replaces the normal lights if there is a power outage.
